“Little Ashes” Sneak Peek

RadarOnline got a sneak peek at Rob Pattinson in the upcoming movie, Little Ashes:

The role is a decidedly grown-up—and slightly racy—one for the actor best known as Edward Cullen. The movie, set in the 1920s and 1930s, follows the love affair between Dali and the poet Federico Garcia Lorca, who is played by a smoldering Javier Beltran. Of course, that means a handful of steamy makeout sessions between the two male actors. In their memorable first love scene, the two of them go for a midnight swim in their underwear, where they share a passionate kiss under the moon.

And don’t forget … Novel Novice Twilight has a really special Little Ashes project coming next week. You don’t want to miss it! Check out our own preview right here:

Thursday Twi-News Goodies!

* Fandango has a new interview with Robert Pattinson, talking about New Moon.

* Hey aspiring actors & actresses … wanna be in a movie with Rob Pattinson? Summit is casting for principals for Remember Me, their upcoming romance starring Spunk Ransom, himiself.

* About.com has a new inteview with Peter Facinelli, who talks about some of the scenes they’ve filmed for New Moon & running into Stephenie Meyer at Disneyland:

Have they added more Cullen family scenes?

Peter Facinelli: “You know, it’s hard because when you’re doing stuff that’s based on a book, if you add too much that’s not in there the fans don’t like it. I think we’re… There’s always going to be creative interpretations of stuff. But as far as adding stuff, there’s so much in it already, it’s hard to add. You have a 500 page book that you’ve got to squeeze down to two hours.”

But everyone wanted more of you guys in it.

Peter Facinelli: “Yeah. They’re going to have to wait for the third one. We’re more in the third and fourth for sure. I saw, which was really funny, I saw Stephenie Meyer at Disneyland. We went to Disneyland – just randomly went to Disneyland with my family and we both were eating dinner at the [Blue] Bayou restaurant, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was so odd. She walked over and I was like, ‘This is too coincidental.’ But, I should have told her, ‘You know, why did you take the Cullens out of the second book so much?’ I did tell her, ‘You know what? I’m a little upset I didn’t get to go to Italy.’ I said, ‘Carlisle could have shown up in Italy.'”

* DeadBolt has an interesting article, looking at what the lasting effects of Twilight could be, after the last movie is made.

* MTV continues their coverage of the Twilight cast that never was — this time talking to Emily Browning about how she was an early pick by Stephenie Meyer (and many fans) to play Bella.

* According to BuddyTV, American Idol has-been … er, I mean “alum” … Justin Guarini has a new song he wants included on the New Moon soundtrack.

* And here’s something cool for our fellow Harry Potter fans:

CHICAGO (AP) — All things Harry Potter can be found in Chicago. You expected maybe the Hogwart’s School or some corner of England? “Harry Potter: The Exhibition” has its world premiere today at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. The exhibit is inspired by the books and the movies. It includes Hogwart’s classrooms, Hagrid’s hut, the Forbidden Forest, an area of Dark Forces and the Great Hall. There are props and costumes from the Harry Potter films including Harry’s original wand and eyeglasses. The exhibit runs through September 27th in Chicago and is expected to travel to other cities. They haven’t been announced yet. The next Potter film, “”Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” opens July 15th.

I will definitely be going if it comes to Portland!
