Why you should read Kimberly Derting’s The Body Finder

Oh, Twilight fans … we all share the same dilemma. Whatever shall we read while waiting for Stephenie Meyer’s new novella, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. And then, what will read while waiting for the theatrical release of Eclipse? And who knows when Breaking Dawn will get made into a movie.

But there are a TON of really great books out there. Many of them — dare I say it? — even better than Twilight.

Finding great books to read is part of why we launched our sister site, Novel Novice … and if you haven’t checked it out yet, you really should. Like, now. Seriously, go check it out. Here’s the link again. Do it!

And while you’re at it — here’s one new book that I HIGHLY recommend for Twilight fans:

The Body Finder
by Kimberly Derting

This book has a lot of great things going for it: romance galore, a murder mystery, the Pacific Northwest setting, a great mood, and beautiful prose. Plus — it’s a thriller, so you’ll be anxious to keep turning the page to find out what happens next. Oh, and the sequel is already on its way — and Kim has two more books in the works.

Recently, we got to sit down & do a video interview with Kim — who is super awesome, by the way — and we talked all about The Body Finder and lots more, including why she is a fierce defender of The Twilight Saga!

Check out our interview below, then head to your local book store and check out The Body Finder for yourself!

  1. Great interview. It definitely makes me feel like reading “The Body Finder”. Another non-reader takes the plunge after reading “Twilight”. So there all you nay-sayers.

  2. LOVED The Body Finder.. looking forward to the next books!
