‘Breaking Dawn’ Movie Details

With Eclipse bringing in big bucks in it’s first weekend, questions about the production of Breaking Dawn have already begun to roll in.  And with Melissa Rosenberg on the job, all Twilighters know they can plan on all their favorite scenes being in the films.  With the first installation of the 2 Breaking Dawn films set to hit theaters in November of 2011, Rosenberg is no doubt already underway with her writing.  In fact, she recently posted to her facebook page:

Hi y’all! Not sure where some of you got the impression I intended to leave birth scene out of Breaking Dawn, but it’s inaccurate. Of course the birth scene will be in there! And the sex scenes! And the feathers! And the blood! Perhaps you misinterpreted what I said about not needing to see BUCKETS of blood in order to convey the terror of the birth scene. But rest easy all! xoxo Mel

Summit has also confirmed that both Breaking Dawn films will be rated PG-13.  Yahoo Movies has an article with more details about the movies here.

For the comments:  Which scene from Breaking Dawn are YOU most anticipating for the movies?

  1. So glad to read this!! I haven’t even seen Eclipse yet (I’m going Thursday with some friends) but I’ve already been hearing things about Breaking Dawn, and I had heard that these scenes were being left out to keep it PG-13. I’m very glad to hear that the rumors aren’t true 🙂 Thanks for posting!

  2. The wedding!!:)

  3. Oh, it´s hard to choose a scene but of course the wedding, Isle Esme and first time as a vamp but I do hope MR does not leave out the bickering btw Rose and Jacob. And the dog bowl….I want Fido 🙂

  4. Without a doubt, Edward standing in the ocean looking up at the moon…and you know…everything that comes after that! Bring on the feathers and Isle Esme! 🙂

  5. Is that really her official facebook page? Has Summit confirmed that?

I know she has said in interviews and articles that the birth scene and sex scenes will be included but without graphic detail, but the quote above does not really sound like her words.

Maybe she is just more informal on her FB page…I don’t know. But I do find it weird that her FB page is ONLY about Twilight and her work on Dexter is not mentioned, even on the Info page. Anyone know how to confirm if this is truly her official page or someone posing as her?
